David Beckham, the global phenomenon, landed in Sydney on the weekend and unless you've had your head up your arse you'd know that this man has pulling power. Women get hot and flustered at the site of him, young boys and girls wanna grow up to be just like him and men just wanna role with him… cars, hairdos and wife included!

Beck's is here with Landon Donovan and Ruud Gullit to take on Sydney FC... by themselves! Well almost and you'd be forgiven if that’s what you thought, especially if you followed media reports. I don't think any other players have had any coverage since the team landed. Anyway, the match is being played tonight and all of a sudden, Channel 10 (Australia) have shown interest in a sport that I don't think they've ever televised before! Funny that! Let's just hope they do a better job of covering the match than what Channel 7 did back in the NSL days... I'm still trying to work out who allowed them how they managed to run 15second ads between goal kicks! Can you believe that shit!?
