Nike has marketed these carbon rippers as ‘fast boots for fast players’. My question is, how much faster could someone like Cristiano Ronaldo possibly run!? His pace and featherweight feet make him one of the quickest players in the world at the moment… what kind of chance do defenders have in keeping up with him once he puts these puppies on!? It’ll be amazing to see him wear these during a match… which I’m surprised he hasn’t already done. These pics were of him training last week, yet on the weekend against Arsenal and during today’s UCL match he was wearing his trademark Argon Blue Nike Mercurial Vapor III. I know that the SL’s haven’t officially been released yet, but shouldn’t someone of his status be showing them off already? Can anyone shed some light on this?
Maybe it’s the steroids that make him faster?

Hes not going to wear the SLs and not even the Vapor Sls. Hes just wearing the $200 USD Vapor IVs. the SLs are very nice and i have worn the SLs and Vapor SLs. If you want more info on them let me know.
At the moment players, such as Ronaldo, are wearing Vapor IVs because the Vapor SLs and Mercurial SL Carbons (shown above) havn’t gone onto official, general release. Nike don’t just want to release all there boots at the same time, its a simple marketing ploy to enable them to maximise their profits.
