Defending Champions Greece came into the tournament to prove that their success in ’04 wasn’t a fluke, yet they approached this match with a very defensive way. They played deep unattractive football and resorted to pumping balls deep into the corners for their full backs to run onto. Only until they conceded a wonder-strike by Zlatan Ibrahimovic did they come out and play, but by that stage it was too late and they went down another goal. It’ll be interesting to see how they line up against Russia at the weekend seeing as Russia will be holding possession and play well through the middle of the park. It’ll mean the Greeks have to come out and play… thing is, I don’t thik they know how to and I don’t feel they’ll make it to the next round.
