Portugal’s star studded lineup dominated the majority of this match, as expected and some creative play in their attacking third allowed them to unlock the Turkish defense as if it were a beat up car and they were the shiny new clothes hanger reaching through the gap in the window to get you in. Portugal are up there as favourites to take out the tournament, so don’t feel so bad Turkey, you’ve still got the Swiss and the Czechs coming your way… and we all know how well they played!!!
This is a massive call early on, but I think Portugal and Germany will meet in the semi’s. I’m undecided so far as to which of those two teams will make the final though.
