The first stale-mate of the tournament… which is pretty hard to believe when you have the attacking prowess of Ribbery, Mutu, Anelka, Benzima and Henry in the squads battling each other. As per usual though, France got off to a slow start and generally find themselves gearing up later in a tournament. Seeing as they’re in the “Group’o'death” it probably means that they’ll have to pull a finger out in their next match cause it’s against a young Dutch team brimming with confidence at the moment and given the way they ripped open World Champions Italy, runners up France could be in for a tough night.
Having said that, I think France and Holland will progress from this group, but it’ll definately go down to the wire.
