Guess who's back...

Ronaldo trains with his secret weapons
...in the MothaF*ing house!!

That's right peeps, you're eyes are not deceiving you and just when you thought they wouldn't be shown again, the Mercurial SL's have appeared from obscurity to grace us with their presence... and hopefully it’s not for one night only.

The heads over at Nike are probably grinning with glee in what must be a dream come true scenario... I mean how often do you promote something ever so discreetly for months prior to an unexpected outcome (ie. two of the biggest household names in the world football will be wearing your product as they square off against each other for its grand unveiling in the final the UCL final!?) and then actually have it happen?
Clearly we must give credit where it is due... but wouldn't it be bazaar if this was the expected outcome and half way across the world in some executive's office millions of dolleros were splashed around to bring this outcome to fruition?
Something like this would put the Italian match fixing scandals of last year to shame; heck this would make last week’s earthquakes in China seem like the doing of an ant's fart! That’s the kind of repercussions it would have worldwide!

Anyway... enough of the speculation just sit tight cause in about 8 hours we'll be able to see these puppies go to war.

Just quietly though, who do you think would win in a straight line race?
Ronaldo or Drogba?

...just a casual strole in his new guns

Champions League Final - Prediction

Manchester United prepare to be kings of Europe
Throughout the final phases of this years UCL, I laid claim that Manchester United would be crowned kings of European football, article here. My prediction was based purely on their desire to win matches and their wealth of attacking options. I still back that claim, all be it with some hesitation though. Recently, Chealsea proved to the critics amongst us that they are capable of bringing their A game when it really matters... of course I'm refering to their defeats of Man U and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge only weeks ago. The team seems to be bonding well and they're just as hungry to win some silverware this year.

All in all, the scene is set for a firey encounter between to two sides. I just hope it lives up to the promise and isn't anytihng like the lack-luster performance of last years FA Cup final.

Prediction:
Manchester United 1 v 0 Chelsea

From Russia With Love

From Russia With Love
20 days, 12 border crosses, 4 train journeys, 2 flights, 3 bus trips and a ride on the back of a donkey and I finally made it to Moscow for the UCL final!! And I almost didn't get into the country cause I don't have a ticket. Thanks to my advanced understandings of Commies, their sex-slaves, my boyish charms and the five-hundy I slipped a couple of military patrolmen, I was able to prowl through the grasp of the Iron Fist undetected and here I am... but shiiiiiit! If I'd known a while ago that the final would be between Man U and Chelsea, I would have planned a trip to Stanford Bridge weeks ago and saved myself the trouble of having to come to Moscow.

Anyway, last time I sat in front of a computer to add a post was the day I left for the Mother Land and shit have I missed some news since then.
