Having almost no hope in hell of qualifying for the next stage of the Confed Cup, the U.S.MiNT, went into last nights match as firm favourites… for another beating! This morning however, it was Egypt who awoke severely battered and bruised asking themselves what the f**k just happened? Shit, at 2-0 down they were still in with a chance of making the next round, then all of a sudden BAM!… like an eagle who’s wing had been clipped and was now engulfed in a twisted nose dive, Clint Dempsey poked his fugly unshaved head between two defenders and scored the goal that put the US through… hey don’t look at me, I was preparing for a Spain v Egypt semi-final too!
