As if the internet wasn’t a big enough platform to talk shit on, over the weekend I was invited on to Radio2′s Totally Football to hang out and talk more shit with resident football guru Sparky. Among doing so, I’d also wanted to use the opportunity to learn more about the English game as a whole and not just what is reported on a daily basis about the glitz and glam of the Premier League. I needed to get to the rudimentary level of it all, to the heart and soul of the game and well what followed was a brutal truth about as unexpected as Burnley’s scrappy win against Man United or worse Man City’s signing of that Brazilian geriatric Sylvinho!
