Overnight Al Ain claimed their third UFL Super Cup in what turned out to be an entertaining night for all involved… except the Al Ahli fans I’m assuming.
The match was a little scrappy throughout and wasn’t as fluid as something you’d see in Europe or *cough*Australia*cough* and players were dropping like soldiers at Normandy, but overall I was surprisingly impressed.
The stadium and facilities were first class; the VIP seats, leather; the nibblies and drinks at half time, special. Even the atmosphere was pretty intense and the 17,000 strong crowd were treated to some cracking goals too.
I don’t know if this is what all matches are like throughout the league… I have a sneaking suspicion they might not be; regardless, I’m still looking forward to following the progress of the teams involved, which means you’ll be able to too right here on this site! Go teams!
