I am a self proclaimed football-tragic residing in the deserts of the UAE, with an ever burning desire to comment on all aspects of the modern game, it’s ludicrous payouts, bizarre endorsements and colourful characters… oh and I also have a nack for predicting match results.

But why the ‘Mask of Maradona’?
Maradona epitomises the good, the bad and the downright insanity that is the global business of football… he has an insatiable thirst for cutting loose on the press, a loud mouth, an unpredictability about him and everything he touches turns into a comical farce. Such is his “myth” however, that at the same time as being all those things, he is considered by most (myself included) to be the greatest player of all time, he is worshipped like a god and was even credited for making cocaine in sports mainstream… seriously, if these aren’t good enough reasons to make him the face of my site, then frankly I don’t know who is!

Keeping up with the Pundit:
If Nicolas Anelka flaps his goal scoring fairy wings, I’ll be there to scoff at him! If Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s ego grows larger than the Camp Nou, you best believe I’ll be in the nose bleed section with a shotgun ready to bring it back down to earth… and if another footwear designer creates another fluorescent boot, you best believe I will get myself a pair and literally piss on them for all to see!

And the best thing it is that I give you a front seat to all the action!
