Many, many moons ago, I wrote a little article about how Ronaldinho was going to leave the Nou Camp and head straight for the Emirates [read it here]… why you ask? Why else, I was bored and I needed the attention!
In all fairness though, it’s cause Arsenal had just published their annual profit and my eye’s nearly popped out of my head when I read how much money they had in their kitty. I thought to myself with a stash of cash that big, why wouldn’t they splash out a little and um, maybe buy some players!?
Which brings me to my next point… I know, I’m a little slow today. If The Gunners are soooooo cashed up, why haven’t they already signed, sealed and delivered Andrei Arshavin!? What on earth is taking so long!? If it was up to me, not only would the little ‘Russian Jewel’ be running around north London right now, but there’d be Transformers and ninja’s standing round the stadium too just in case we fell under attack… ninja vanish!
